Accessibility
Last updated: October 8, 2026
I want anyone to be able to use this website, including people with low vision or colour blindness, and people who browse with a keyboard or a screen reader. I follow the WCAG 2.2 guidelines, level AA.
Reading settings
At the top, next to the languages, there’s an Aa button. There you can:
- Make the text bigger (normal, large or extra large).
- Turn on high contrast: darker text, stronger borders and underlined links.
- Choose the light or dark theme, or your system’s.
- Stop animations (the photo carousel, the reels strip and the effects when scrolling).
Your settings are saved in your browser and apply on every page.
What else the website does
- Colours with enough contrast to read the text.
- It respects the zoom and text size set in your browser or phone.
- It respects your system’s “reduce motion”, “increase contrast” and dark mode settings.
- Everything works with a keyboard: Tab to move, Enter to open, Esc to close and the arrow keys in photo galleries. There’s a button to skip straight to the content.
- The photo carousel and the reels strip have a pause button, and you can also spin the carousel by dragging it.
- Photos have descriptions for screen readers, and forms have clear labels and error messages.
What’s still missing
The reel clips on the website are short and silent; the full video, with its audio and subtitles, is on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube.
Something not working?
If there’s something on the website you can’t read or use, message me on WhatsApp or at adoriankuruzu@gmail.com and I’ll fix it. I can also send you all the information by message.
